This month

I am urging myself

To pause.

Sit.

Still.

To use reflection

For growth.

I was thinking

About “February wins”

And I struggled

To list more than one.

What the hell am I doing

With my time?

I’m in the thick of raising babies, yes,

But

Time is rushing past

Like a quick-moving current.

I hate goals,

But I need them.

With all that is going on,

Globally, as well as

In my sphere,

I don’t dare waste

This one life.
